I’m a big fan of using my Crockpot/slow cooker for easy weeknight meals after a busy day, but they’re also fantastic for entertaining. Since the food stays warm, the host doesn’t get stuck in the kitchen all night and they’re perfect for making all of the classic comfort foods that we crave this time of year. For the past few years, we’ve been all about using crock pots for my Mom’s “Souper Bowl” party – she makes a bunch of different soups (kept warm in crockpots), fresh bread, and baked wings. It’s so easy, and everyone loves it.
Soup is a great option, but there are so many more healthy crockpot meals that are perfect for entertaining, too! Use your slow cooker for anything from making pulled pork or shredded chicken breast for sliders, warm dips, or chili or other toppings for nachos.
