Easy Cajun Pasta 3

If this recipe doesn’t look like something that I’d normally make, its because I didn’t make it. My husband prepared it a few weeks ago when I had to work late and knew I wouldn’t feel like cooking. He cooks on nights like that fairly often, but he usually makes something that I planned out. This time, he planned it himself though. He did a great job! I would definitely make this on a night when I’m tired and don’t feel like cooking.

    Easy Cajun Pasta

    • I pkg Bilinski’s all natural chicken andouille, sliced
    • 1 pkg Buitoni linguine (fresh)
    • 1 green bell pepper
    • 1 red bell pepper
    • 2 cloves of garlic
    • 1 small jar prepared light alfredo sauce
    • 1 medium onion
    • 1 tbs cayenne pepper
    • 1 tbs olive oil
    • 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
    • 1/2 tsp crushed red pepper
    • Fresh ground black pepper

Chop vegetables and cook with oil and 1 tbs cayenne until tender, add sliced sausage and cook until thoroughly heated. Heat sauce and add remainder of cayenne, crushed red and black pepper to taste. Serve over prepared pasta.

It looks spicy and good and the fact that you didn’t have to make it is a bonus!

Looks great – Bravo Mr. LK! I love it when my hubby cooks, too – especially when he puts his own creative spin on it. It’s such a treat!

This looks really good, he’s a good cook! I love(!) alfredo sauce with heat to it. It’s one of my recently-discovered favorite things. What a nice dinner to come home to.
