dry brown lentils vegetable stock onion, celery, carrots mushroom dry white wine milk  tomato paste bay leaf grated Parmesan cheese

boil the dry lentils until tender and set aside

cook the onion, celery, and carrot in a large pot, adding the mushrooms for the final 2-3 minutes

next add the tomato paste, then add the cooked lentils, milk, and bay leaf

Serve with pasta.
