Review: Marzetti Simply Dressed Refrigerated Salad Dressing

It’s a new month (seriously, can anyone believe its December already?!) and I have a few new and exciting projects up my sleeve. The first is that I’ve been asked to be a “spokesblogger” for Marzetti Simply Dressed salad dressings!

Throughout the month of December, in addition to my regular posts, I’ll be featuring a few quick and easy recipes that I created featuring these dressings. At the end of the month, there will be a fabulous giveaway that will allow two of you to try the dressing out for yourself.

I’m really excited about this opportunity! First off, I think that I develop some of my most creative and delicious recipes when I’m given a product to work with since it keeps me focused. Secondly, although I haven’t had the opportunity to try the whole line yet, I genuinely love these dressings – especially the ginger sesame. They are full of really intense flavor and have a simple list of identifiable ingredients that looks very similar to what I would use if I was making my own dressing from scratch. They also have a great texture – they’re thick and creamy but not as “gloopy” as some other prepared dressings can be (I think the gloopiness in other dressing might be from corn syrup – these don’t have any of that.). So far, I’ve tried the Ranch, Pomegranate, Ginger Sesame, and Champagne varieties, and I can’t wait to try the Greek Feta and Strawberry Poppyseed varieties.

Here are a few of my favorite recipes that use Simply Dressed dressings:

Have you ever tried Simply Dressed? Which is your favorite?

I was one of the bloggers selected by T. Marzetti Company to review Simply Dressed Refrigerated Salad Dressings. I have been compensated for my time commitment to the program as well as my writing about my experience. I have also been provided products for review. However, my opinions are entirely my own and I have not been paid to publish positive comments.

  1. Tried the ceasar today and loved it. Very good. Hope to try Greek Feta and some of the other flavors soon.

  2. I tried the Ginger Sesame Simply Dressed and hands down the very best dressing I have ever added to my salad. We picked up a bottle in Colorado and now needing it where we live, Santa Fe, NM. But no one has it! This flavor that is, as Smiths carries some others. Even went to Marzetti site and they are out! Make more, please!

  3. After I originally left a comment I seem to have clicked on the -Notify me when new comments are added- checkbox and now every time a comment is added I recieve four emails with the same comment. Is there an easy method you can remove me from that service? Kudos!

    • I’m not sure if this comment is spam or not. It seems as though you entered an invalid email address so I can’t contact you. I can fix this, but I need to know what post the original comment was under and what name you have associated with it.

  4. Just bought the blue cheese Marzetti Simply Dressed dressing and sad to say, was not impressed. I expected more of a blue cheese flavor but it had a strong vinegar flavor instead. I’ll stick with my Marie’s Blue Cheese dressing. Might give the Marzetti’s a second chance and get the ginger sesame and hope that it’s a better dressing.

    • That’s so disappointing, I’m sorry you didn’t like it. I don’t care for blue cheese dressing, so I havent tried that one. The ginger sesame is definitely full of flavor though!

  5. I’ve never heard of these! Some sound like they’d make great marinades, love to see what you come up with for the Ginger Sesame!

  6. I’m actually reviewing Simply Dressed within the next two weeks and am quite excited especially now that I know you love it! I’m debating trying either the ginger sesame or the feta!
