For the past few months, I’ve been keeping a secret. Not very well – you might have noticed an icon in my sidebar or a hashtag on a tweet here or there. But, for the past few months I’ve been working behind the scenes to write and photograph an eBook! My book, Healthy Holiday Entertaining, is finally done and I’m so excited to share it with you (for free!).
The holidays are my favorite time of the year – I love having an excuse to dress up and entertain! But this time of year can also be stressful. Traditional party food definitely takes a toll on my waistline and there aren’t always options for people with special dietary needs. That’s why I partnered with GO Veggie! to create a collection of healthy recipes that are perfect for holiday entertaining.
This book contains eight appetizer and dessert recipes. They’re all lactose free and vegetarian, but some are also dairy free, gluten free, or vegan. Some of the recipes, like my spicy broccoli triangles and my creamy tomato basil soup, have been seen before but others, like baked arancini with olives and mini pumpkin cheesecakes, are brand new and can only be found in the book. i created the recipes with Christmas and New Year’s in mind, but they’d be great for any gathering. The pumpkin cheesecakes would be especially welcome at Thanksgiving!
Download Healthy Holiday Entertaining – and let me know what you think! I loved putting this together and have a few ideas for more books if you’d be interested in reading them.
This is such a great idea! Congrats! I am downloading it now!

Sweet, so exciting – congrats! 🙂
Pretty cool about the ebook—-congrats!
Thanksgiving will be the only real family holiday for my family this year. Christmas is going to be so weird and I am off the New Zealand right after that! 😀
How exciting, Lauren! I’ve downloaded the ebook and can’t wait to look through it!
Congratulations on finishing the ebook! Sounds great. 🙂 I’ll have to check it out!
