I didn’t get back there for some years and found that hotel had closed and the dish was gone. I have never since heard any interpretation of that recipe, but this seems worth a try. I am going to try this one, just to see if that memorable dish can be at least partly brought forth again.
Still, I have to ask: “Has anyone else heard of the Goethe favorite?”
